The EZLynx May 2020 release will go live on 5/29. Here are some highlights:

Client Center Enhancements

EZLynx Client Center has been updated in several ways, with a focus on making customer self-service easier and more convenient.

There are two new ways to promote Client Center to your clients.

  • Initiate a Client Center Email Campaign with a single click. The campaign will automatically apply a Client Center template to the email, containing a link for customers to access your Client Center portal. Agents will be able to set scheduling parameters for the email campaign.
  • Provide a link to Client Center as a personalization Tag within an email. This option inserts your agency’s Client Center portal URL into any email campaign template. We recommend adding it to your email signature on all campaign templates. This will help your customers conveniently access Client Center.

When you remind insureds that online customer self-service is available 24/7, everyone wins!

We’ve also enhanced the client experience with a new interface and simplified workflows. Insureds and prospects will immediately notice the improvement. From the landing page, Quick Menu options will direct them to the most used features. And the associated pages have been enhanced for more straightforward usability.

  • The Policies page has a streamlined look and feel. Insureds can easily identify the policy they are looking for and understand their policy coverages and limits.
  • The Documents page displays more pertinent information for the client, making file sharing even easier.
  • It’s never been easier for customers to submit Policy Change Requests for their personal and commercial lines policies. The change request options are clearly highlighted, saving them a phone call to your agency.
  • The Certificates generation workflow is now even smarter. These new changes encourage your insureds to generate certificates themselves, instead of always requesting them from your agency.

Life Insurance Quotes Now Available Through Client Center

Your clients can now obtain Life Insurance quotes through EZLynx Client Center. This latest development is an extension of our partnership with BackNine Insurance, made possible through the new EZLynx Connect program.

Many of you are already enjoying access to Life Insurance rates through the Quote Results page in EZLynx 5. Now, we’ve added the option for your clients to proactively request a quote through the Client Center portal.

Clients will be asked a series of questions from BackNine. The system will return a list of monthly term life premiums, based on the insured’s health. BackNine will also communicate the lead to your agency, so you can follow up with the prospect.

To take advantage of this new cross-selling feature, enable BackNine integration from Connect Market Place. You will be asked to enter your National Producer Number (NPN) to verify your credentials with BackNine Insurance. Once an Assigned Agent has enabled BackNine Insurance, their customers will begin seeing this new quote feature as they log in to Client Center.

Secure24 – ADT Home Alarm Integration

EZLynx is proud to announce this new integration with Secure24 Alarms. Agents now have the opportunity to cross-sell home alarm systems to interested shoppers. This integration acts as a lead generator to Secure24 Alarms, who will then contact the insured regarding their interest in home alarm systems.

There is no cost to the agent for this integration. If a lead you provide results in a sale, you will be paid a commission.

This feature is the latest addition to the EZLynx Connect program. It is currently available only within EZLynx 5.

EZLynx Virtual Agent (Eva)

Welcome “Eva” to your agency staff!

EZLynx Virtual Agent leverages machine learning and natural language processing to make your agency smarter, faster and more capable for customer response.

Eva works in conjunction with EZLynx Text Messaging to answer simple customer requests and create follow-up tasks for your agency. Eva monitors your incoming text messages for the types of customer requests she’s been designed to perform. When she’s capable of providing assistance, she responds to the customer.

Today, Eva can provide insureds with their Auto ID Card, as well as help with Coverage, Vehicle, or Driver Information. If your agency has EZLynx Client Center, she will direct them to the portal for faster customer service.

We are continuously working to improve the quality of Eva’s responses. To better help her learn what agents need, we are offering Eva free to anyone with EZLynx Texting through the end of the year. Put Eva to work for your agency and its clients today!

Admins can enable Eva from the Communication Center menu.

Zapier Integration Now Available

We are pleased to announce that the EZLynx Sales Center Zapier Integration is now Generally Available. This integration makes it possible to automate applicants in EZLynx from 2,000+ apps.

We’ve also made a few enhancements from the previous Beta version. These enhancements include additional Outbound Trigger Fields, additional Inbound Action Fields, and a new Birthday Field Definition for Outbound Triggers.

There is also a new enablement process. You will no longer need an App Secret to start setting up a Zap. Instead, all you need is your EZLynx username and password to connect.

This integration requires either Sales Center or a license to the Sales Center API. Contact your EZLynx Sales Representative for more information.

NOTE: Because of significant updates to the Zapier app, it is not possible to automatically migrate existing Zaps to the new version. If you currently have running Zaps, you will need to recreate them with the new version within the next three months.

What’s New in EZLynx 20.0

The EZLynx April 2020 release is now available! Here are some highlights of the release:

New! Carrier eDocuments

EZLynx Carrier Messaging is expanding to include eDocuments (eDocs). This new feature promotes better and faster communication between agents, carriers and insureds. It will also streamline your carrier connections and provide your agency access to the most accurate policy documents throughout the insurance life cycle.

  • Supports eDocs and Messages coming through IVANS
  • Automatic Carrier eDocument association to customer accounts and policies
  • Secure transfer of documents such as declaration pages, ID Cards, payment overdue notices, and more through Client Center
  • Full tracking of all policy documents sent directly from the carrier

If your agency is not already set up to receive eDocs and Messages, please reach out to carriers to enable this capability.

Improved Application and Policy Entry Workflows

EZLynx has made enhancements to policy and application screens for many commercial lines of business in the management system. The screens provide a more logical flow to enter data and navigate between different tabs in the screens.

  • Share specific reports with other users in your organization
  • Schedule the automatic delivery of your most used reports directly to your Inbox

What’s New In EZLynx 4.19.13

EZLynx 4.19.13 is now available! Here are some highlights of the release:

New! Certificate Master Workflow

Certificates are perhaps the most time-consuming and costly activity imposed on agencies. Now EZLynx has redefined the creation, management, and distribution of certificates, streamlining the workflow and changing the way agencies think about getting them done.

Remarks made at the Master level carry through to all holders at once, and true asset association means that vehicles/locations automatically flow over with each holder. EZLynx has also simplified the task of sending certificates out to thousands of clients, with one-click distribution through the client’s preferred method — including online self-service within EZLynx Client Center.

This is a game-changer for commercial policies:

  • Dedicated Certificates work area
  • Completely revamped Certificate Master workflow
  • Master level remarks carry through to all holders at once
  • Easily add and manage certificate holders
  • True asset association
  • Attachments associated at the Holder level
  • Longer remarks automatically flow to the required ACORD 101
  • Certificate Distribution Reports provide a history of what you’ve generated

The new and improved Commercial Certificates is now available to all users of Level 2 and Level 3 EZLynx Management System. Look for the new “Certificates” tab on your Commercial Accounts.

Client Center: Certificate Self-Generation

Client Center is fully integrated with the new Certificate Master workflow. This means that Certificate Master Remarks you enter will be displayed on the Master Certificate you share to the Client Center.

Because Master Remarks now flow to the Client Center Certificate Master, this will save you (and the insured) needless back-and-forth communication to get the proper remarks added. Additionally, Supporting Documents now download with the Certificate Master in Client Center.

Documents can be attached to the Master Certificate, or to an individual Certificate Holder. When supporting documents are attached to a Master Certificate, they will stay associated with the Certificate. When the insured logs into the Client Center to “Download” or “Add Certificate Holder” to a shared Certificate, these documents will stay intact and download along with the Certificate.

Rating Engine Updates

EZLynx Rating Engine is receiving various updates with this release.

State-Related Updates:

  • Oregon ― Gender option X-Not Specified is renamed to Not Specified
  • Michigan ― Additional PIP deductible options ($1,000 and $2,500) for Auto Application

Updates to Various Field Options for Home and Dwelling Fire:

  • Frame Option is removed from the Exterior Walls field on Home Rating Application.
  • Added a new value of 10% to the Ordinance & Law endorsement option on Home Rating Application.
  • Under the Dwelling Fire Endorsements Tab, Replacement Cost Dwelling is renamed to Increased Replacement Cost Dwelling Percentage, with dropdown values of 125, 150, and 200.

New EZLynx Reporting & Analytics Platform

We are excited to announce that the initial release of the new EZLynx Reporting & Analytics platform will rollout to all users over the next few weeks. We have included over 20 of our most used reports and will continue to add functionality through the rest of the year.

The new platform features enhanced visualizations and noticeable speed improvements. Pixel-perfect reports take the stress out of printing, sharing, and presenting KPIs. All-in-all, agencies can access accurate data faster and gain insights that were previously unattainable.

Features include:

    • Faster reports
    • Powerful export options (Excel, PDF, CSV and XML)
    • An intuitive, easy-to-use interface
    • “Pixel-Perfect” reporting
    • Simplified, graphical report menu

Users should expect to see their reports continue to default to the current platform. This is by design. Watch for the new button at the top-right of the “All Reports” page to access the new platform.

EZLynx Client Center – Change Request Integrations

EZLynx Client Center has now been enhanced to provide even more visibility into clients’ change requests.

Agencies were already being notified when an insured created a change request within Client Center. These automated notifications appeared as new tasks in the system. Now an insured’s request from Client Center is automatically documented within the EZLynx Change Request workflow, improving documentation and eliminating redundant data entry. EZLynx automatically generates the client’s message for the agent to review and submit to the carrier.

This integrated workflow ensures that no client requested changes are overlooked by your agency!

Also, policy transaction histories have now been enhanced to include “Client Center” as a source for change requests. Look for this new field in the Policy Source column.

International Address Support

EZLynx now features international address support for mailing addresses. This new feature applies to both personal and commercial accounts.

International Address Support applies to mailing addresses only. EZLynx continues to support only U.S.-based locations and risks.
