As we finish our first year as part of Team Applied, I am excited for the future. Together, no company is better positioned to change this industry for the better. Looking Back

Before I share what’s on the horizon, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on my personal favorite product enhancement from 2021.

The Automatic Change Request Confirmation feature automates the endorsement review process. In real-time, EZLynx automatically reviews incoming endorsements from the carrier to verify they are accurate based on the changes requested by the agency. If everything matches, the system automatically confirms the endorsement and closes it out without the need for human intervention.

  • We’ve had reports that this feature decreases endorsement processing times by 45%!
  • Automating this process represents significant time savings to agencies, because they are not paying employees to do work that their management system should do for them.

Automation

Agency automation truly is a game-changer and the key to scaling your business. When you rely on software to automate and perform common workflows, you get more done in less time. We will continue to expand the role EZLynx Automation Center can play in your agency, with new workflows and additional best practice templates to help you automate your sales, service, and retention.If you have not already implemented this powerful tool, please let me encourage you to make this the year that you do.

Customer Self-Service

Insurance customers—like any other digital consumers—have fully embraced the use ofonline customer self-service. Every day the lines between traditional and digital business become more blurred. Technology enhances the customer experience, and customer portals provide yet another avenue for agencies to build relationships and act as trusted advisors for their insureds.

If your clients cannot already access policies, generate certificates, submit change requests, view ID Cards, follow claims, share documents, make payments and more from anywhere, anytime and on any device, you are not delivering the digital experience today’s insurance shoppers expect. EZLynx Client Center is the answer.

We will continue to grow this digital extension of your agency, expanding the commercial self-service capabilities and forging a deeper integration with payments. We’ve had great success in reducing the time spent collecting agency bill receivables this year (up to 60% reduction for some agencies!) and will improve on that in the coming year. Strategically shifting the client portal to help agencies intelligently cross-sell was successful, so we are excited to build on that by introducing a client-facing referral and review program for satisfied customers. If you are not familiar with everything EZLynx Client Center has to offer, you really do owe it to your agency to take a closer look.

Focus on Growth

We believe agencies should be able to integrate trusted, best-in-class technology solutions with their agency management system, without having to write the code themselves to do it. The EZLynx Connect Marketplace provides development-free connectivity to third-party vendor solutions, advancing your agency immediately in targeted ways – like choosing from a curated selection of vendors to help add value to every quote. We have focused on adding availability across key areas of the platform and will continue to add new vendors this year.

EZLynx is known for creativity and a devotion to solve problems differently. As I mentioned earlier, we’re also passionate about helping our customers grow and thrive. You’ve reached out to let us know that your agencies have trouble monitoring performance metrics and staying on track for annual goals. Be on the lookout later this year for some exciting enhancements to help you do just that.
