Unveiled at the AgentLynx 2018 User Conference in San Diego, EZLynx Automation Center offloads an agency’s important — but frequent and repeatable — tasks to the EZLynx Workflow Engine, freeing up an agent’s time for higher value activities like finding and focusing on new sales opportunities.
Automating important agency tasks not only frees up an agent’s time, but it also establishes best practices and a means to ensure that these practices are followed each and every time.
“Automation Center is like adding a fleet of employees to your agency,” said EZLynx Product Manager Derek Armentrout. “This solution doesn’t just make an agency more efficient, it also makes an agency more effective. Independent insurance agencies understand the value of their interactions with clients, and they are clamoring to do more of it, and better. Automation Center lets agents take a set-it-and-forget-it approach for many of the personal touches that mean so much to their clients.”
For the initial roll-out of the product, Automation Center will focus on advancing and strengthening communications with customers. It will also define agency workflows through automated tasks, addressing a list of the more frequent and common agency management efforts. Future plans for the product include a greatly expanded list of possible automation actions, interfaces to other systems, and virtual agents that can monitor customer communication channels to respond automatically or initiate custom workflows.
We will soon be opening up limited beta testing of EZLynx Automation Center, so we wanted to give you an opportunity to request to participate below. We also wanted to give you a sneak peek at what we have planned for this first version. If you recall from our 2017 Roadmap, we stressed the importance we are placing on agency automation this year. We believe our users can experience significant gains in all levels of profitability, productivity, and serviceability by using system data to intelligently automate actions. We have exciting plans to make this happen with new EZLynx tools this year and beyond!
Automate Actions based on Policy Download Events
The initial release of Automation Center will focus on letting you configure automation rules for pre-defined policy events in your system.
For example, if you have a policy cancellation, you might want the system to automatically create a task for you or another agent to take a look. Likewise, when you sell a policy to a new customer, you might want to automatically schedule a ‘Welcome to the Agency’ email campaign for the new client.
Let’s Take a Look
You will be able to manage your automation rules from a central dashboard, allowing you to enable, pause, or remove rules, as well as add new rules from our template library, which will contain rules for new policies, policy changes, cancellations, and more.
Each rule can be configured with various actions, such as sending an email campaign or assigning a task to someone in your agency.
While we want to keep the options simple for the first version, we ultimately have a larger vision for Workflow and Automation across all aspects of EZLynx!
