Now Available: Send Postal Mail Directly from EZLynx

With EZLynx Postal Mail, you can select any PDF or ACORD form from your applicant’s document library in EZLynx and have those documents printed and mailed to the applicant in only a few simple clicks.

EZLynx Unveils Automation Center for Independent Insurance Agencies

Unveiled at the AgentLynx 2018 User Conference in San Diego, EZLynx Automation Center offloads an agency’s important — but frequent and repeatable — tasks to the EZLynx Workflow Engine, freeing up an agent’s time for higher value activities like finding and focusing on new sales opportunities.

Automating important agency tasks not only frees up an agent’s time, but it also establishes best practices and a means to ensure that these practices are followed each and every time.

“Automation Center is like adding a fleet of employees to your agency,” said EZLynx Product Manager Derek Armentrout. “This solution doesn’t just make an agency more efficient, it also makes an agency more effective. Independent insurance agencies understand the value of their interactions with clients, and they are clamoring to do more of it, and better. Automation Center lets agents take a set-it-and-forget-it approach for many of the personal touches that mean so much to their clients.”

For the initial roll-out of the product, Automation Center will focus on advancing and strengthening communications with customers. It will also define agency workflows through automated tasks, addressing a list of the more frequent and common agency management efforts. Future plans for the product include a greatly expanded list of possible automation actions, interfaces to other systems, and virtual agents that can monitor customer communication channels to respond automatically or initiate custom workflows.


EZLynx Announces Insurance Industry’s First Agency Management System for Market Access Providers

Announced at the AgentLynx 2018 User Conference in San Diego, EZLynx revealed the insurance industry’s first agency management system for Market Access Providers and Agent Networks called Compass.  Compass addresses the workflows and communication needs of Market Access Providers and Agent Networks in ways not previously available.

Harnessing the power of the EZLynx ONE PLATFORM, Compass addresses the three pillars of Market Access Provider success: Carrier Management, Member Management, and Commissions Processing. The system does this by enabling Market Access Providers in two distinctly valuable ways.

First, Compass provides the framework for unprecedented interconnectivity between the Market Access Provider and its member agencies. Second, Compass delivers unprecedented reporting and analytics, providing the means for data-driven decisions and discovering key opportunities to increase their revenue and profitability.

Specific needs for this fast-growing, disruptive segment of the independent insurance market include regular, operational and practicable communication to members; seamless integration with the member agency’s management system; the aggregation of carrier data, including policy downloads and commission allocation; and the ability to manage reporting, productivity and success for both the individual agencies and the Market Access Provider as a whole.

Coming Soon: EZLynx Automation Center

We will soon be opening up limited beta testing of EZLynx Automation Center, so we wanted to give you an opportunity to request to participate below. We also wanted to give you a sneak peek at what we have planned for this first version.  If you recall from our 2017 Roadmap, we stressed the importance we are placing on agency automation this year. We believe our users can experience significant gains in all levels of profitability, productivity, and serviceability by using system data to intelligently automate actions. We have exciting plans to make this happen with new EZLynx tools this year and beyond!

Automate Actions based on Policy Download Events

The initial release of Automation Center will focus on letting you configure automation rules for pre-defined policy events in your system.

For example, if you have a policy cancellation, you might want the system to automatically create a task for you or another agent to take a look. Likewise, when you sell a policy to a new customer, you might want to automatically schedule a ‘Welcome to the Agency’ email campaign for the new client.

You will be able to manage your automation rules from a central dashboard, allowing you to enable, pause, or remove rules, as well as add new rules from our template library, which will contain rules for new policies, policy changes, cancellations, and more.

Deb Casey, 1950 – 2017

We are saddened to announce that Deb Casey passed away this weekend. Her passing is a great loss to the EZLynx Team and to our customers whom she so doggedly advocated for each and every day. We know there are many agents who have worked with Deb over the past 12 years at EZLynx and experienced her tireless dedication first hand.

Aside from her many contributions to EZLynx and our customers, Deb was an avid dog enthusiast, breeder, and trainer. She began training her first dog when she was a very young child, putting her first obedience title on a dog in 1969. Schutzhund and competition obedience captured Deb’s attention for a number of years as she actively titled her dogs often with high scores including a number of High In Trials. She has also worked as a veterinary technician and trained/trialed Rottweilers in obedience for a top breeding kennel in Colorado. Deb was also on the Board of Directors of the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America and is past editor of their well-received Quarterly Magazine. For the past decade, Deb was the owner and editor of the online publication ACDSpotlight, which focused on the Australian Cattle Dog breed.

As an Australian Cattle Dog breeder, Deb bred very few litters – only 10. Of those litters however, she bred 20 Champions of record and some of those hold obedience, herding, and agility titles as well as some working in SAR, therapy and tracking. Deb believed in keeping only a very few dogs at a time and insisted that ALL be house dogs. She often stressed the importance of training and socializing puppies so they become pleasant lifetime companions.

Deb was dedicated, passionate, opinionated, and kind. EZLynx will not be the same place without her. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial celebration is scheduled for Friday, June 16 at 12:00 PM at EZLynx, located at 350 Highland Drive, Suite 150, Lewisville, Texas 75067. Memorial donations may be made to the National Animal Interest Alliance or to your local no-kill animal shelter.

EZLynx Sales Center focuses on streamlining an agency’s lead management and sales pipeline for agencies who want to manage the full customer life-cycle, round accounts, and increase new business.

Sales Center will provide easy access to pipeline data and relevant information to assess the success of producers, marketing efforts and sales workflows. Quote information from EZLynx fills into Sales Center to provide the estimated value of each deal, and as it moves through the pipeline, the estimated value becomes more accurate, which allows a producer to forecast sales for month’s end.

Leverage EZLynx Reporting for your Email Marketing Campaigns

EZLynx Email CampaignsGet ready for our upcoming update to EZLynx Email Campaigns in the next few weeks, which includes a completely renovated process for segmenting your existing data for bulk email blasts.

We have been very pleased with the extensive enhancements that have been made so far this year to EZLynx Reporting; so much so that we felt the power of our reporting engine far outstripped our separate email campaign list builder.

As a result, this upcoming update will replace the existing list builder with Saved Reports from EZLynx Reporting. Take advantage of the powerful capabilities of our reporting engine to segment your data using both simple or highly complex filters. Once you have saved the report, it will be available for you to use within EZLynx Email Campaigns, which is part of our Communication Center bundle.

When you start a new campaign, your first step will be to name the campaign and select your recipients. You will be able to manually add individual recipients, select from your available Saved Reports, or choose from one of your static lists that you may have created from within EZLynx Retention Center or from the old list builder tool.

Your old lists will still be available to use, but any new or future lists will have to be created from within EZLynx Reporting as a Saved Report.

By making it possible to use our reporting engine to segment your data for Email Campaigns, we have brought a new level of accuracy to your email marketing. We are also excited about the new possibilities it brings, as there are many more filter options available in EZLynx Reporting than we had in our previous list builder.

This Update is Only the Beginning

While this update allows you to use your Saved Reports for campaigns, those campaigns are still using a static version of the report at the time you scheduled the campaign.  While not a big deal for short-term campaigns that are sent immediately, if your campaign has steps that are scheduled throughout the year, your list could get seriously out of date by the time the campaign finishes.

This has always been a problem for any email campaign service that relies on saved or uploaded lists, but we are excited to announce that our Email Campaigns update later this year is going to take your static lists and make them dynamic, allowing you to run Drip Campaigns using your Saved Reports and have those campaigns automatically update in real time before each email is sent.

Imagine being able to have a campaign that sends an email to your prospects every 3 months and automatically removes those recipients that become customers as a result. Schedule a recurring, long-term cross-sell campaign to all your customers that have an active homeowners policy but no auto policy and rest easy knowing that our system will automatically add or remove recipients to the campaign based on whether or not they still meet that criteria. The possibilities are endless, and this is just one of several very exciting enhancements planned for EZLynx Communication Center this year!

Attendees will benefit from an increased knowledge on the digital side of their agency, they’ll be able to walk away with insights on how to better manage renewals, and will be able to identify opportunity within their agency workflow.
