Rating and Quoting
The rating and quoting insurance software in the MGA version is identical to the rating and quoting
piece used by our standard retail agents. The major difference is the way MGA sub-agents
use the rating piece.
Unlike our retail agency product, the carrier credentials for quoting are controlled
at the MGA level and are not visible by sub-agents. This prevents MGA sub-agents
from any unauthorized access to the carrier web site(s).
EZLynx MGA insurance software also allows for sub-agents to use their own carrier credentials in cases
where the MGA is not offering those markets. Under this scenario, the MGA sub-agents
can quote one applicant with multiple shared markets and one or more independent
markets. The quote results will then be displayed all on the same screen. More importantly,
the MGA underwriter will NOT be able to see the quoting results of any of the sub-agent's
independent carriers.

Messaging
We realize how challenging it is for the MGA and their sub-agents to communicate
with each other when it comes to quoting, issuing the policy and policy changes.
With this in mind, EZLynx MGA has a special feature that is not available in the
retail version of our product.
This feature allows the MGA and their sub-agents to communicate with each other
effortlessly outside of their regular email system. Using this feature, an MGA sub-agent
can send a bind message to the underwriter at the MGA requesting that a quote be
bound. The MGA underwriter, on receipt of this message, will find the quote through
a link in the message details and click over to carrier site to finish issuing the
policy.
Once successfully issued, the underwriter can then reply back to the sub-agent through
EZLynx MGA with an attachment of the policy documents for the sub-agent's records.
